I don't know if that could have anything to do with the problem. I'm thinking if there is a way to manually add any missing headers or anything like that, maybe that would work.

If you could help me in somehow salvaging this file it would be greatly appreciated. But even getting a fix there would not help me with this specific file. I know from reading other threads that the problem is likely on Hauppauge's side. I think if I could get it to open and then do an edit and resave it, the new output file would likely be fine. I tried Quick Stream Fix, but when I set the input file, it says 'File is not a recognized video file'. When I do that, it says 'Unable to open file, the filename, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect'. I tried Trim and Copy Source File to see if removing parts at the beginning or the end and creating a new output file would work. I tried increasing the MBytes to scan at file open setting in Options / Stream Parameters to 600 Mb.

I tried Options / H.264 Options / Source Frame Rate: and changing it to every one of the different options there. I have tried numerous suggestions from other threads, but none of them have had any impact. This file does open and plays fine in Windows Media Player. I would really like to be able to make a Blu-Ray of this file after performing edits in VideoReDo, but I cannot get the file to open due to the 'Unable to determine initial clock, details in the log file.' error. The file I've captured was captured from live TV and not something on a DVR, so I am unable to capture it again. I have read many other threads on this support forum that mention this error, but I haven't been able to find a solution in any of them. I am getting this error on a TS file captured on the Hauppauge PVR2 using Hauppauge Capture software.
